Seasonal Paid Parking coming to Allan Yorke Park
Posted on 06/28/2024

The City of Bonney Lake is introducing seasonal paid parking at Allan Yorke Park on July 10, 2024.

Allan Yorke Park is the city’s largest, most visited park and currently the only free public access located on the shores of Lake Tapps. With many of those visiting the park coming from outside of Bonney Lake, the city is adding paid parking to assist with crowd control and ensure all users contribute to the maintenance and capital costs of the park and its services. The revenue generated from the paid parking is invested back into Bonney Lake parks, helping us to maintain park amenities.

ParkMobile is the City of Bonney Lake’s mobile parking app provider. ParkMobile offers multiple ways to pay for parking, making it easier than ever to go contactless. To pay for parking, locate a sign in the correct zone for the area you are parked and select a method of payment.

ParkMobile Ways to Pay

  • Pay by App: The full-featured app for iOS and Android provides the most complete parking experience. Download the app on your phone and register;
  • Pay by Web: The mobile web experience lets you quickly pay for parking without downloading the full app. You can scan the QR code on the sign or go to ParkMobile’s website at parkmobile.io; or
  • Pay by Text: Text “PARK” to 77223 to quickly start a parking session.

ParkMobile Features

  • Extend your parking session remotely if you have not reached the maximum time limit;
  • Receive text message reminders before your parking session expires; and
  • Receive email receipts.

Parking Fees
Seasonal paid parking is in effect May 1 through October 1. The parking fees are $4 for four hours or $10 per day, plus fees and taxes. Parking is free during city sponsored events.

Important Information

  • Enter the full license plate as it reads on your vehicle registration without any spaces. Entering an incorrect or partial plate will result in a ticket.
  • Paid parking is zone specific. Check the signage to determine your zone.
  • No refunds or in/out privileges.
  • There is no ability to reserve a parking spot in advance.
  • How does enforcement work? If using the ParkMobile app, there is no need to display a receipt; however, you must enter your license plate number correctly to avoid a citation.
  • A parking violation is subject to a $250 fine.
