The 15th annual Labor of Love triathlon coordinated by Trio Multisport returns to Bonney Lake on Saturday, August 31. More than 200 triathletes will swim, bike, and run in this competitive event. The race starts from Allan Yorke Park at 8 a.m. and wraps up by noon.
The route map is below. Please plan accordingly and know alternate routes if the area you live in or commute through is going to be temporarily impacted by this event. Detour signs will be posted to help direct vehicle traffic around the road closures. Officers will be stationed at the road closure signs to help direct traffic. If you live in the neighborhood on 67th St Ct E and need to travel during the event, you will need to turn northbound to leave and return in the southbound direction.
With the higher-than-normal amount of people in the city to watch and cheer on their loved ones, please use extra caution when driving.
As a reminder, the Allan Yorke Park boat launch will be closed in the morning until about noon.
