Project Location: SR 410 between 219th Avenue E and 233rd Avenue E
Project Overview
Starting August 19, crews associated with the Peak 410 Business Park private development will be completing work along the SR 410 corridor between 219th Avenue East and 233rd Avenue East.
This project includes:
- Roundabout. A roundabout will be installed on SR 410 at 224th Avenue East in order to provide access to the Peak 410 Business Park.
- Sidewalks. New sidewalks will be installed on both sides of SR 410 between 229th Avenue East to the current terminus near 219th Avenue East on the north side and 224th Avenue East and 221st Avenue East on the south side.
- Sewer connection. Installation of a new sewer line across SR 410.
- Undergrounding utilities.
- New water main. Extension of Valley Water District water line at 229th Avenue East. – Completed earlier this summer and extension of the City of Bonney Lake Water line along the northside of the roadway.
Project Timeline
This project is scheduled to be completed by November, depending on weather and other unanticipated setbacks. The City is in regular communications with the private developer regarding the various stages of the project and will update the webpage as new information is available.
Traffic Impacts / Construction Work Hours
This project is happening on SR 410 between 219th Avenue E and 233rd Avenue E. Construction work hours are Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Delays are anticipated at times due to lane reductions, lane shifts, and a lower speed limit. Please allow more time for travel or take alternate routes during the work.
Update 9/30/2024:
The first phase of the lane shift has ended. Starting September 30, the current traffic control plan will change and vehicle traffic will be shifted from the south side of SR 410 to the north side.
As part of this traffic shift, 224th Avenue East will be closed on the south side of SR 410. To maintain access to the single business located off 100th Street East, a temporary road is being constructed across private property to connect SR 410 with 100th Street East. This road closure is expected to last for approximately three weeks.
The lane shift is anticipated last 4-5 weeks. Cones will be in place to guide drivers with the lane shift.
Whenever near work zones please:
- Slow down – drive the posted speeds for worker and traveler safety.
- Be kind –workers are out there helping to keep people safe and improve the roadways.
- Pay attention – both to workers directing travelers and surrounding traffic.
- Stay calm – expect delays, leave early or take alternate routes if possible; no meeting or appointment is worth risking someone’s life.
